Meeting with the curator of the archaeological exhibition - it was he who discovered the early medieval stronghold

We invite you to a curatorial tour of temporary exhibition entitled "In Search of the Beginnings of Leszno. Archaeological traces of early medieval settlement in the city".


The meeting will be hosted by the curator of the exhibition, archaeologist Łukasz Lisiecki (ArchGeo). The story will concern the basic terminology, the principles of conducting research, the presented objects (amomg others ceramics, iron exhibits, fragments of glazing from a potter's kiln) and the recently discovered traces of an early medieval hillfort near Zaborów.

The event takes place as part of the celebration of the European Days of Archaeology.
