"Tropiciel historii" Competition, 2026 Edition
The Museum cordially invites primary school students (grades 4–8) to participate in the "Tropiciel Historii 2026" competition. The event is held under the patronage of the Polish Historical Society – Leszno branch.
The competition takes the form of a field game, which takes place in the old town of Leszno and in the Museum building at 31 Gabriel Narutowicz Street.
Participants will face tasks prepared at the permanent exhibition "At the Meeting point of worlds. The history of Leszno from the 16th to the 20th century" and the temporary exhibition "What do flowers talk about?". The aim of the competition is to interest young people in the culture, art and history of Leszno, as well as to encourage them to discover the local heritage – often hidden in places that you pass every day.
The competition will take place in two age categories:
May 5, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – Stage I (grades IV–VI)
May 6, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – Stage II (grades VII–VIII)
We accept team applications until April 30, 2026. The summary of the competition will take place on May 8, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Museum's headquarters at 31 Gabriela Narutowicza Street. The three best teams in each age category will receive material prizes and diplomas. More information in the regulations. We cordially invite you to participate.
