"Builders of Leszno - Eduard and Hans Stein" - opening of the exhibition and a walk
From September 9, 2025, a new board exhibition will be on display in front of the Museum building at 31 Gabriela Narutowicza Street in Leszno.
This is the second exhibition in a series of exhibitions devoted to builders active in Leszno at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This year's presentation will be about Eduard and Hans Stein. The builders, father and son, came from Leszno and implemented most of their projects here. To this day, we can see tenement houses, villas and industrial buildings erected by them. The exhibition, as well as the accompanying small catalogue of works by both artists, was prepared on the basis of construction documentation collected in the State Archives in Leszno.
The curator of the exhibition is Małgorzata Gniazdowska, an art historian.
