Before you visit our exhibitions, please read the visiting regulations. You will find there the most important information about the rules of staying in the Museum.
The regulations apply to visiting the exhibition in the former synagogue building at ul. Gabriela Narutowicza 31.

I. Opening days and hours of exhibitions and visiting rules
1. Opening hours of the District Museum in Leszno:
Monday - closed
Tuesday - 10:00-18:00
Wednesday - 10:00-18:00

Saturday - 10:00-15:00
Sunday - 10:00-18:00
2. Last entry to the museum is 30 minutes before closing.
3. The basis for entry to permanent and temporary exhibitions in the Museum is to have a valid admission ticket or invitation.
4. Exhibitions can be visited individually or in organized groups.
5. For safety and conservation reasons, there are limits on the number of people staying in the permanent exhibition and exhibition areas at the same time. time. The maximum number allowed in visitor groups is 40 people.
6. The museum reserves the right to temporarily exclude parts of the exhibition from visiting.
7. Purchasing tickets constitutes acceptance of the rules set out in these regulations (the content of the regulations is available at the museum's reception desk and on the website).
8. It is possible to use the so-called "quiet hours" for people who are particularly sensory sensitive. On Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., it is possible to visit the museum when there are no public events or openings for groups. During this time, intense lighting and sound elements are turned off. II. Ticket purchase
1. Before entering the permanent and temporary exhibitions, you must purchase an admission ticket to the Museum in accordance with the Museum's price list of fees for visiting the Museum. The current price list is available at the box office and on the website.
2. On Tuesday, admission to the permanent and temporary exhibitions is free. On this day, additional services are payable: a guide and the purchase of museum lessons.
3. Free or discounted entry is available to persons listed in the orders of the Director of the District Museum in Leszno. Information is available on the website and at the Museum's ticket offices. The issuance of a reduced ticket depends on the prior presentation of a document entitling you to the discount.
4. Invoices will be issued in accordance with applicable regulations to persons, institutions and business entities at the ticket office.
5. The museum honors the Large Family Card, the Greater Poland Family Card, and the Leszno Large Family Card. For people with such cards, the price of an admission ticket to the museum is PLN 6.00. The purchased entry ticket is valid for one visit.

III. Guided tours. Participation in lessons
1. Organized groups can visit the permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions with an external guide with a certificate entitling him to give tours in the Museum. Such a certificate is issued by the District Museum in Leszno.
2. Organized groups or individual tourists can purchase a guide service for an additional fee.
3. Reservation of a guide for organized groups or individuals takes place no later than the day before the planned visit date.

7. Individual tourists and organized groups booking a tour that includes a guide service - in the event of resigning from the service or tour, are obliged to notify the Museum of this fact.
The notification should be made at least one day before the date of the planned visit by e-mail to the following address: edukacja@muzeum.leszno.pl or by phone at 65 529 61 40 ext. 27.

- before entering the permanent and temporary exhibitions, preparing visitors, including discussing the rules of behavior in the Museum (including: prohibition on touching exhibits, prohibition on taking photos with a flash and a tripod, etc.)
- compliance with all instructions and comments of Museum employees during the tour
- intervening in all cases of inappropriate behavior of the people he guides, and in particular in the event of their failure to comply with the prohibitions referred to in § 4.
6. Participants of museum lessons remain under the supervision of a teacher or guardian throughout the duration of the lesson.
7. Individual tourists and organized groups booking a tour that includes a guide service - in the event of resigning from the service or tour, are obliged to notify the Museum of this fact.

IV. Tour schedule
1. Entry to the Museum is prohibited for persons who are under the influence of alcohol or who behave in a way that threatens the safety of the collections, disrupts the order of visits and violates generally accepted standards of behavior in public places.
2. It is prohibited to bring any weapons, ammunition, items considered potentially dangerous, as well as toxic, flammable and explosive materials into the Museum.
3. Smoking tobacco products and e-cigarettes is prohibited on the premises of the Museum.
4. Before entering the permanent and temporary exhibitions, visitors are required to use a free cloakroom. The Museum is not responsible for valuable and delicate items left in the cloakroom or in the building. A fee of PLN 20 is charged for a lost cloakroom number.
5. It is prohibited to bring to permanent and temporary exhibitions:

8. It is prohibited to take photos of the Museum's collections and interiors using a flash or a tripod.
9. Photographing and filming the Museum's collections is prohibited if it may lead to a threat to the safety of other people or the collections, is contrary to the principles of conservation protection or violates the rights of third parties.
10. Independent admission to the Museum is recommended for youth aged 16 and over. Younger children can only visit with their parents or adult guardians. Parents or guardians are responsible for preventing damage and for damage caused by children's inappropriate behavior.
11. There is a CCTV network in the Museum building that records and archives images. The administrator of personal data is the District Museum in Leszno.
