Easter traditions – get to know forgotten customs with us
As every year we have the pleasure to invite preschool groups and primary school students with teachers to museum lessons entitled "Customs and rituals of Easter" from 25.03 to 18.04.2025.
Easter is time rich in traditions which, unfortunately, over the years begin to fade into oblivion. Our lessons are a great opportunity to remind the youngest ones of them and show how you can prepare for these special days of the year.

Get to know forgotten traditions
During the meeting participants will learn about the customs related to Easter – from Palm Sunday, through the celebration of the Holy Week, to the Easter table and its symbolism. They will learn about the importance of traditional dishes, as well as discover lesser-known, local customs characteristic of south-western Greater Poland.
Have you ever heard of "klekoty", "nowe lotko" or "palenie żuru"? During the classes we will explain what is hidden behind these mysterious concepts and how Easter was celebrated in our area in the past.

Do an art task
In the practical part of the lesson students will have a chance to develop their creativity and manual skills by making an Easter card that they will take home with them.

Tickets: kindergartens - 5 PLN, schools - 7 PLN
Duration: approx. 45 minutes
Number of participants: up to 30 people
Classes are conducted from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m
