Historical walks around the Górecki family
We invite you to three open historical walks, bringing closer the history of the Górecki brothers and their connections with Leszno. The walks take place as part of the educational project "City-Warsaw" in Leszno? The Sweet and Sour Story of the Górecki Brothers".
The activity of Józef and Jan Górecki was visible in pre-war Leszno on many levels. The brothers were distillers by profession and they devoted their professional lives to this profession. During historical walks, we will tell you the history of the brothers combined with sightseeing Leszno. The walk entitled "Trade and Production of the Górecki Family", scheduled for Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., will show the Górecki family from their professional side thanks to places related to production and trade.
Meeting always in the hall of the District Museum in Leszno (former synagogue). Free admission.

Funding
The project was co-financed by the Polish History Museum in Warsaw under the "Patriotism of Tomorrow" program, 2024 edition. The amount of funding is PLN 50,000.00, the total cost of the project is PLN 63,600.00.
