History Tracker Competition
The District Museum in Leszno invites primary school students from grades IV-VIII cordially to participate in the "History Tracker 2025" competition. The competition was held under the patronage of the Polish Historical Society, Leszno Branch.

The competition is a field game, organized within the Leszno Old Town and in the Museum building at 31 Gabriela Narutowicza Street, at the permanent exhibition entitled "At the meeting points of worlds. The history of Leszno from the 16th to the 20th century" and a temporary exhibition entitled "Tales of Old Linen Chest". The aim of the competition is to interest young people in the culture, art and history of Leszno, as well as to inspire them to explore the local history – the one that often hides just around the corner, in places they pass by every day.

We invite primary school students cordially to participate in the competition.

Competition in two rounds

The competition will take place in two age categories over two days:     

  • 06 May 2025, 10:00 a.m. - Stage I: grades IV - VI
  • 07 May 2025, 10:00 a.m. - Stage II: grades VII - VIII

Applications

We accept team applications until 25.04.25.

Summary

The summary of competition will take place on May 9, 2025 at 12.00 p.m. in the Museum building at 31 Gabriela Narutowicza Street. The three best teams in each age category will receive prizes and diplomas.
