Lectures on art - fashion

Excerpt from the event poster
Excerpt from the event poster
We invite you to a series of lectures entitled "Lectures on Art", in which we will again look at fashion – its history, transformations and significance in culture. The event will include meetings devoted to both great European fashion, shaping styles and trends over the centuries, and traditional folk costumes, reflecting local customs, crafts and community identity. Lectures on art history and ethnography will allow you to discover how clothing reflected the era in which it was created, and what stories are hidden behind the fabrics, embroidery and cuts of old costumes.
