Museum Lessons "Christmas customs and rituals"
Starting December 2nd, we cordially invite organized groups to unique museum lessons titled "Christmas customs and rituals." This is a unique opportunity to experience the magic of the holidays and learn about the rich traditions that have accompanied Christmas for generations.
In a festive atmosphere – surrounded by a fragrant Christmas tree and a unique Christmas nativity scene – participants will listen to stories about old customs and beliefs related to this special time. They will learn, among other things:
Each participant will also make their own Christmas decoration, which they will take home with them. The museum lessons lasts until December 21, 2025.

- what the preparations for the Christmas Eve supper looked like,
- where did the custom of bringing home a green tree come from,
- what was the meaning of the "magical night" and the rituals that accompanied it.
Each participant will also make their own Christmas decoration, which they will take home with them. The museum lessons lasts until December 21, 2025.
Rules for participation in museum lessons
- classes take place from Tuesday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. (on special request, it is possible to order lessons on the weekend)
- maximum number of participants: 30 people,
- price of classes: preschool children – 6 PLN/person, students – 8 PLN/person,
- class duration: 45 minutes,
- the lesson should be arranged at the Education and Marketing Department at least 3 days in advance,
- the group guardian is obliged to participate in classes and take care of children,
- please arrive at the museum 10 minutes before the start of the class,
- the museum reserves the right to refuse to accept a group that is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice,
- during the classes, the regulations for visiting the Museum apply – they are available on the museum's website in the Plan a visit tab,
- before the start of the lesson, you must buy an entrance ticket at the Museum's box office,
- classes take place at the headquarters of the District Museum in Leszno, 31 Gabriela Narutowicza Street.
