The competition "You praise others, you don't know your own..." 2025
The Museum invites primary and secondary school students cordially to participate in the competition "Praise others, you don't know your own...", the aim of which is to bring closer and promote the intangible cultural heritage of our region.
The theme of this year's edition are tales and legends. These stories passed down from generation to generation explain the names of places, the fate of old buildings or tell about mysterious events.The aim of the competition is, among other things, to encourage active search for and documentation of local histories. We also care about developing creativity and artistic skills among young people.
We encourage you to participate in the competition and discover the beauty of local legends and tales.

Competition tasks:
Participants can take part in one of three categories:
- Literary work – any form of writing referring to a legend or legend.
- Artwork – collage made using any technique.
- Photography – an image showing the main theme of competition.
Organizers
The competition is organized by the District Museum in Leszno and the Leszczyński Family High School in Leszno. The honorary patronage of competition was taken by the Polish Historical Society, Leszno Branch.
