Winter holidays at the Museum 2026

Winter holidays are a great time to combine an attractive form of spending time with a valuable education. We invite organized groups to participate in specially prepared educational activities "Winter holidays at the Museum", taking place on February 17–27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Our offer combines elements of history, art and artistic activities, developing children's creativity and attentiveness.

Art workshops
Duration: 90 minutes
Cost: 15 PLN/person

  • A bag of history – we discover the history of Leszno and create art
Classes combined with a guided tour of the exhibition, during which participants will learn about the most important places, characters and exhibits related to the history of Leszno. Then, inspired by the knowledge gained, everyone will design their own eco-bag, which will not only be an original souvenir from the museum, but also a practical gadget to take home.

  • Winter like from a fairy tale – a landscape inspired by museum paintings
During the games, we will show that painting can be fascinating and that everyone can interpret a work. The classes will be a great opportunity to practice mindfulness: participants will learn to notice details, analyze colors and discover the emotions that selected images evoke in them. In the practical part, each participant will play the role of an artist and, using a variety of artistic materials, create their own winter landscape.

Museum lesson
Duration: 45 minutes
Cost: 8 PLN/person.

  • Maria Leszczyńska – Cinderella at the French court?

Participants will learn interesting facts from the life of the Queen of France – Maria Leszczyńska: they will find out where she came from, what she had in common with King Stanisław Leszczyński, what interests she had and in what circumstances she met the young Mozart. It's an extraordinary journey into the world of Versailles – full of stories, anecdotes and inspiration. There will also be manual activities that will help you better understand the climate of the era in which the queen lived.
