The Society of Friends of the District Museum in Leszno and the District Museum in Leszno invite you to see the exhibition about Jan Metzig.
The patron of the year 2024 in Leszno is Jan Metzig (1804-1868) – a doctor, social activist and defender of the rights of Poles during the Prussian partition. On this occasion the Society of Friends of the District Museum in Leszno, in partnership with the Museum, prepared a board exhibition about the life and work of a medic. Eight double-sided boards present Metzig's biography, towns related to his life and exhibits from the collection of the Museum in Leszno. The last of the boards contains a map with the route of the Metzig trail around Leszno.
