The buildings owned by the District Museum in Leszno are historic buildings, so access to them for people with disabilities is limited.

The facility is completely unsuitable for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs.
The main entrance to the building is located from al. Zygmunt Krasiński.There is a gate and paved access to the building. Entrance through doors that open from the right wing, it is possible to open the left wing. The entrance is open to the public from 07.00 to 15.00. Behind the entrance door there is a vestibule with limited maneuvering space, then a mezzanine and narrow stairs leading to individual floors of the building.
If you are unable to reach a given Museum unit located on higher floors on your own, you can get an employee to come down or get help to get to a given floor. Assistance is provided by a security employee who remains in eye contact with the visitor.
You can enter the building with an assistance dog and a guide dog.
There are no parking spaces designated for people with disabilities near the building. The nearest parking spaces for these people are in the municipal parking lot near the Museum at pl. Jan Metzig.
Building at ul. Gabriela Narutowicza 31
The main entrance to the building is located from the street. Gabriela Narutowicza 31. There are paved entrances to the building, and a diagonal driveway for people with mobility disabilities. Entrance through a door that does not open automatically. The door opens with the right leaf, it is possible to open the left leaf. There is a bell button installed at the door, intended for people with disabilities, which summons a security guard.
The entrance is open to the public from Monday to Sunday during the opening hours of the Museum.
Behind the entrance door there is a vestibule with an accessible maneuvering area and an entrance to a passenger elevator adapted for people with disabilities.
Visitors are served in a designated place. On the mezzanine, in the hall on the right, there is a security desk for people dealing with individual matters at the Museum, and a ticket office for people who want to take advantage of the Museum's current offer. The elevator provides access to the lobby, ticket office, cloakroom, museum shop and restroom. On the ground floor, the Museum has a wheelchair which can be used by people with disabilities depending on their individual needs. The toilet for disabled people is equipped with an alarm and call system.
The elevator provides access to the permanent exhibition hall on the first floor and to the temporary exhibition on the second floor. A staircase with handrails on both sides leads from the hall to the individual floors of the building.
