Board exhibition: "80 Years of the Zygmunt Wojciechowski Western Institute in Poznań"
A new outdoor board exhibition has opened in front of the Museum building. It explores the history of the Institute for Western Affairs.
A newly installed open-air exhibition in front of the Museum at 31 Gabriela Narutowicza Street commemorates the history of the Institute for Western Affairs. Between 1945 and 1946, the Institute maintained a branch in Leszno, located at 25 Bolesława Chrobrego Street. The institution was managed by Dr. Zdzisław Rajewski, an eminent archaeologist, pioneer researcher of the Biskupin site, and future professor. It is owing to his efforts that historical treasures like the Górzna Hoard were preserved for future generations. Today, this extraordinary find is featured in the Museum's permanent exhibition.
The board exhibition was prepared by the staff of the Institute for Western Affairs in Poznań.
