Conference entitled "Provenance research in libraries, museums and archives of the region"
On June 8, 2026, our Museum hosted a conference of the Greater Poland Provenance Group entitled "Provenance research in libraries, museums, and archives of the region." The event was organized by the University Library in Poznań and the District Museum in Leszno.
During the session, papers were presented on historical book collections, family and monastery archives, special collections, issues of ownership marks and the most interesting examples of provenance research conducted in libraries, museums and archives. The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish cooperation and discuss the common cultural heritage of the region.
