Museum at town picnics and festivals
As a Museum, a cultural institution, we participate in the life of our town and region. We are a member of the Leszno-Region organization and we are happy to join outdoor events, picnics and festivals that gather the residents of Leszno and the surrounding area. These are extremely important moments for us – meetings during which we can be closer to our audience, share our passion for history, culture and art, and create a unique atmosphere together.
Usually, we offer participants creative art workshops in the open air. It is a form of activity open to everyone – both children and adults – conducive not only to creative play, but also to conversations about our collections and the history of the region. Meetings in a nice, relaxed atmosphere allow you to combine education with action, creating a space for discovering culture together and building bonds with the local community.
This year, we were with you, among others, during the Breakfast Markets in the T. Kościuszko Park, the Summer Afternoon behind the former synagogue – today the seat of the Museum – where animations, art workshops and concerts awaited, as well as at the LUFA festival (Leszno Street Art Festival). Leszczyńskie Smaki is also ahead of us – a great celebration of cuisine and good fun, which will take place on August 31, 2025 in the Leszczyńscy Satyrycy Park.
