The precious bell will be added to the Museum's collection
The Leszno District Museum has acquired a valuable item for its collection: a bell cast in 1730 in Leszno at Stephan Werner's bell foundry.
The item will join the Museum's collection thanks to a grant received from the "Expansion of Museum Collections - own program of the National Institute of Museums - 2025" program, coming from the budget of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. This new, extremely valuable acquisition demonstrates the level of artistic craftsmanship in Leszno in the 17th and 18th centuries. More information about the item will be released after research is completed.
The project "Purchase of the Stephan Werner Bell" was co-financed from the funds of the program "Expansion of museum collections - own program of the National Institute of Museums - 2025 from the budget of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage".
